INGREDIENTS
*for the white sauce
4 tbsp butter softened
4 tbsp flour(maida)
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp saboot kali mirch(peppercorns)-crushed to powder
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp grated cheese(mozarella or pizza cheese)
Vegetables
10-15 french beans-cut diagonally into small peices
2 carrots-cut into small cubes
1/2 cup shelled peas
1/2 small cauliflower cut into small florets
1 medium potato cut into small cubes
other ingredients
1/2 cup grated cheese
method
*wash veges n boil with 1 tsp salt n water till half done.to prepare sauce
heat butter on low flame. add flour n mix stirrin continously on low flame
for a minute. do not let the colour change. remove from fire. add milk. mix
well. return to fire. stir cont till the sauce becomes thick. add salt,
pepper n tomato kethcup
*mix steamed veges wid sauce. add salt if required. remove from fire. mix
in
the cheese. transfer to a shallow borosil dish. sprinkle grated cheese.
bake
in a hot oven at 200c, till golden brown for 25 mins. serve hot.
